See Toyota Reveal the All-New Camry TOMORROW in a Live Webcast

Toyota is going all out to ensure the successful launch of the all-new 2012 Camry, starting with a full schedule of events TOMORROW (Tuesday, Aug. 23).

Starting at 1 p.m. EDT (10 a.m. PDT), a live webcast will introduce the new Camry to the world.  The 30-minute webcast will originate from Paramount Studios in Hollywood, Calif., and Toyota's Georgetown, Ky., assembly plant, with live video feeds to media events in Detroit and New York City.
 
Following the webcast:

  • Selected members of the news media and social media will participate in Q&A and ride-and-drive events in Los Angeles, Detroit and New York City.
  • The University of Toyota will conduct a live webcast walk-around of the new Camry FOR DEALERS.
  • The Camry and its message - "It's Ready. Are You?" - will appear on digital billboards in Times Square.  Digital images of the Camry will take sporty laps around the Walgreen Building's multiple digital billboards once an hour, covering 16,000 square feet.  The boards also will showcase interior and exterior images of the Camry.
  • TMS President Jim Lentz will be interviewed in New York City by various media.
  • Toyota Division GVP/GM Bob Carter will conduct a Twitter chat with consumers.
